ZAP! - The Lord of the Rings AU

Déorwine lives in a village so small it’s not even on the maps on the limits of Fangorn. Other villagers calls him Simple Deor or Lighthead because he always talks about the beautiful elf who rescued him when, just a little boy, got lost in the forest. Nobody believes his words anymore, but his heart is chained forever. When word arrives to the village that an unicorn lives in the deep of the forest, he decides to find it, and bring it back to regain his lost honor.

Inimeitiel makes an hard decision and leaves her terribly sick father to set on a trip to the deep heart of the Forest of Fangorn, in which the legend says an unicorn lives; a creature ancient and wise enough to know a remedy for the terrible disease that’s bringing slowly Inimetiel’s father to death.

Baerit’s people are slowly dying. The famine is consuming even the strongest of them. But the legends of the fathers talk about a beast with a single horn on his head, which hide and hair and horn bring prosperity to the possessor. So she starts a trip to the deep heart of Fangorn to find and slay the beast and save her people from a terrible death.
